General back story: Born into a modernized, rich family, Yamada Ryosuke was the perfect example of a child born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Well, except that, it was gold, instead of silver. His father was a successful businessman, and his mother was a perfect talent artist. However, having two flourishing and working people as parents also has its own disadvantages. Ryosuke and his little sister were always under the care of his grandfather, who was a great chef.

Ryosuke, who had always loved soccer, was the captain and star soccer player at his school, earning him a lot of expectations from football associations all over the country. He had even stated, once, to his grandfather and parents that his ambition was to be a football player.

However, as he grew up, he began to be confused with his ambition, seeing that he was slowly falling in love with culinary arts. Ever since Ryosuke was young, he always watched his grandfather at work, preparing many after many of delicious looking dishes. And as time passed by, little by little, Ryosuke began getting influenced by his grandfather’s cooking skills. But not long after he developed the liking towards cooking, his grandfather began to fall really sick, leaving Ryosuke with not much of a mentor to help him improve his skills in the kitchen. Before he passed away, however, he left a note for Ryosuke and on it, it was scribbled the name Firefry and its address. It was his grandfather’s wish for him to work and gain experience from this particular restaurant managed by one of his ex-students.

Despite his earlier intentions to be a pro soccer player, Ryosuke joined the Firefry force anyway, deciding that he would do as his grandfather had wished. Besides, if one day he is to become a pro football player, at least, he could be a football player who can cook in kitchens.

Personality trait: Ryosuke, or mostly known as Yamachan (he wanted people to call him Ryochan, but someway or another, all of them ended up calling him Yamachan, instead), is a somewhat, arrogant looking kid. But don’t judge a book by its cover. Of course, he couldn’t help the look – he was born with it – and whilst most boys tend to get irritated by it, Ryosuke seemed to attract lots of girls with his cool and yet, egotistical aura. But deep inside, Ryosuke is actually a kind and loving person, and to top it off, he’s an animal lover at heart. He loved animals so much, that he had practically turned most part of his house into some kind of a petting zoo.

Ryosuke is, in actuality, a loud person. He loves being loud, dorky and jumpy - especially towards people who are close to him. Other things that are apparent about Ryosuke are the facts that he loves mimicking people and also, he’s easily scared – he is particularly terrified of ghosts, dark places and even airplanes.
